A seeker, dreamer, beach-lover, artist and aspiring manifester, Maria's soul longings were encoded in one of her early drawings.  At age 6, a Catholic catechism assignment produced a primitive, yet accurate, depiction of Jesus’ miracle of the loaves and fishes.  She was convinced that it was a masterpiece and saved it for many years.  She continued to draw, worship, sun-bathe and dream until “reality” set in. 

Facing the choice between art school and business school, Maria chose the road more traveled.  She earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.  After college, she spent four years as an auditor with the Big 4 accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in Philadelphia.  She went on to hold a variety of financial management roles in both private and public companies, before launching her own private consulting business in the late 90's.   Most recently, she served as Controller and Interim CFO of a telecom company in New England.  She is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania. 

A series of emotional challenges and physical illnesses motivated her to look beyond the traditional medical world for answers.  This search re-ignited the dual flames of spiritual and artistic passion, and inspired her to pursue a new life-path as a healer and an artist.  She opened her energy healing practice in 2001 in Rhode Island, practicing Reiki at first and later Brennan Healing Science.

Maria is a graduate of The Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  The school offers an accredited 4-year program that provides comprehensive training in energy healing and personal transformation related to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditions.  She is a Reiki Master-Teacher in the Usui Tradition of Natural Healing and an initiate of the Sisterhood of Light through the Temples of Isis.  She has also completed Level 1, Healing Touch for Animals.  See Links for more information.

Maria offers holistic financial mentoring and spiritual mentoring services, as well as energy healing sessions for humans and animals, in Tampa, Florida. She also facilitates expressive arts classes and private sessions called "Your Soul Wants to Paint".
